About Dr. Valerie Raymond
Dr. Raymond is a psychologist practicing in New York City. She has run Banana Splits groups and adoption groups since 1991 at Friends Seminary, an independent Quaker K-12 school. In her private practice, she specializes in learning disabilities and attention disorders.
Dr. Raymond provides an annual one-day training in November and April in New York City for prospective Banana Splits group leaders, through the New York State Assn. of Independent Schools. She also trains school personnel and college/graduate students at their sites.
