About Dr. Valerie Raymond
Dr. Raymond is a retired psychologist in New York City. She ran Banana Splits groups and adoption groups in schools from 1991-2015. In her private practice she specialized in learning disabilities and attention disorders.
Dr. Raymond provides an annual one-day training in New York City for prospective Banana Splits group leaders, through the New York State Assn. of Independent Schools. She also trains school personnel and college/graduate students at their sites.
